EGG (2018)

Tina is a conceptual artist living in one of the trendy districts of New York. Her life is great, she is free, talented, rich, successful and there is a gorgeous man next to her who loves her madly. Soon they plan to become parents, but not in a natural way, as many married couples do, but with the help of surrogate motherhood. The woman does not want to assume the responsibilities of a young mother, she does not particularly like spending all the time with the child and therefore already clearly knows how she will distribute responsibilities among the staff hired by her for these concerns.

Having decided to invite my old friend and part-time rival at art school to a home dinner. A friend comes with an impressive belly, because she is already eight months pregnant and soon she will become a mother. At the same time, a surrogate mom comes to Tina's house, a non-traditional orientation, does not mind earning decent money on this. Karen is shocked by such an act of a friend, because she, as an ideal hostess and faithful wife, adheres to completely different social principles. This whole situation causes serious debates between old acquaintances, where they will try to find excuses for each case.
